Indian culture is really very nice like to show respect to elders we often touch their feet,maried women wear sarees.Joint family systemis very prevelant like old people are taken care by everyone in the family.People often have a family outing for fun.I must say that its really fun.Different people have different taste.Mostly youngsters like food which is not indian and old people like indian food.Usually we get 3 vacations a year.one is the summer vaccation in the month of May,a vaccation for a festival called 'Durga Puja' in the month of sep.-oct.,and the last is the winter vaccation in the month of Dec.-Jan.The technologies we use often are cell phones,Xerox machine,etc.The most imp. technologies 4 me r any thing that involves connecting people.I want to become a software engineere.Technology in India is imp. because people in India are always ready to accept new ideas and to progress.Women in India usually become doctors&journalists. It was nice meeting you.Byeee.

Thats really nice that your summer vacation is in the month of may. Not that hot yet. Although ours is longer, it is during the hot months which isn't always fun.

To add to Amy's comment, we get three months off during the summer (June thru August). We also get smaller vacations throughout the schoolyear: Thanksgiving, Winter Vacation (From Christmas Eve through New Year's) and Spring Break. Other days off vary from school to school. In Pennsylvania and states where it snows a lot in the winter, school is either delayed or cancelled when it is too dangerous for schoolbuses to get the kids to school. Do you guys have buses for school? What about the weather? Our buses are usually yellow.
