I'm posting a photo of my town.Let me answer your queries. Indian culture is really very nice like to show respect to elders we often touch their feet,maried women wear sarees.Joint family systemis very prevelant like old people are taken care by everyone in the family.People often have a family outing for fun.I must say that its really fun.Different people have different taste.Mostly youngsters like food which is not indian and old people like indian food.Usually we get 3 vacations a year.one is the summer vaccation in the month of May,a vaccation for a festival called 'Durga Puja' in the month of sep.-oct.,and the last is the winter vaccation in the month of Dec.-Jan.The technologies we use often are cell phones,Xerox machine,etc.The most imp. technologies 4 me r any thing that involves connecting people.I want to become a software engineere.Technology in India is imp. because people in India are always ready to accept new ideas and to progress.Women in India usually become doctors&journalists. Hiii!I am Meghal.I live in Jamshedpur,India.Our place is wonderful. How is yours .I think it's gr8,isn't it.Well, I am a 11th grade student.I am interested in dancing, singing,music. I am a fun lover.My aim in life is to bring proud to my parents in whatever I do.I am quite interested in knowing about American life ,is it similar to Indian life or is it much different? I would like to know about students in US.I've heard that as soon as children grow up in US they don't live their parents any more-is it true?
